Academics

Welcome to our Academics section! At Ellerhorst Elementary we take our academics very seriously while having fun in our classrooms! The content that we use includes the following:

ELA Content: Lexia Online Learning - Reading and Writing

Math: MyMath and Zearn (the online supplementary)

Science: TWIG Science Content

Art: Ms Crugar-Hansen is here weekly to do art with students

Music: We have music each week for students wanting to join

PE: Ms. Faust runs our PE every Tuesday and Thursday for grades 4-6.

Assessments: These can help our families and teachers know where their students are at academically. We use the following:

iReady: This benchmark test is given throughout the district at the start of the school year

ELPAC: English Language students take this to see how we can support language development

SBAC: State testing in the spring for students in grades 3-6 and CAST (science) testing for Grade 5
